The FCU-3600ANV wipe-on type is a paint that adds highly antiviral and antibacterial materials to a paint base that relies on Si-O bonds. It is a one-component type that dries quickly, allowing for easy application with just a wipe, and no special tools are needed!
The antiviral and antibacterial agents contained in this paint are effective against influenza viruses and feline calicivirus. When viruses or bacteria adhere to the painted surface, the active ingredients in the paint function to inactivate the viruses and bacteria. In other words, it creates an environment that prevents viruses and bacteria from persisting for long periods.
It also has dirt adhesion prevention properties, which simplifies cleaning. Since it is primarily composed of ethanol, there is little odor, so there are no concerns about lingering smells when used indoors.
This paint is a proven product developed under the supervision of Professor Hiroki Komai, Emeritus Professor at Tokushima University.
