●Background of Introduction In recent years, this plant has seen an increase in visitors from foreign factories, and there were concerns that the originally installed barrier-type car gate had low security both in appearance and function. ●Issues Before Introduction The barrier-type car gate posed a problem as it could be easily bypassed, and since it was installed at the main entrance, there was a need to accommodate frequent vehicle traffic. ●Improvement Proposal and Introduction Effects Considering the concerns of the customer, we proposed a fence gate that combines the vehicle processing capacity of the barrier-type car gate with the shielding capability of an electric gate. After installation, we received positive feedback from the customer due to its robust appearance and ease of use. Additionally, since the installation site is in a coastal area with very strong winds, the bars of the originally installed car gate were prone to breaking in high winds.
