Fluid near the supercritical region; measuring substances like carbon dioxide (CO2) and ethylene (C2H4) is not easy. For example, carbon dioxide (CO2) enters the critical region when the temperature exceeds 20°C and the pressure reaches about 30 bara. Under such conditions, the physical properties, such as density and specific heat, change rapidly as a result of temperature and pressure variations.
