Decontamination waste radioactivity measurement device

Niki Craft installed a radiation measurement device for decontamination waste from the U.S. company NUCSAFE in Reiyama Town, Date City, Fukushima Prefecture (0.3-0.4uSv/hr), and conducted radiation measurements while a truck loaded with a flexible container was in motion, confirming through a joint experiment with Fukushima University that measurements and radiation equivalent values ranging from 3000Bq/kg to 130,000Bq/kg could be obtained.

Measures the bulk bags loaded on the truck while the vehicle is in motion. It is also possible to roughly confirm the distribution of radioactivity in the loaded cargo, so if there are particularly high concentration bulk bags mixed in, their positions can be inferred.
Measures bulk bags flowing on a conveyor belt without stopping them. To ensure the reliability and verification of radiation measurements, it is already standard practice to measure the radiation spectrum. All products from NUCSAFE are equipped with MCA, allowing analysis based on spectral data.
