Heat wave measures × Safety for factory workers × Rising electricity costs. "Factory/Warehouse Heat Exhaust Eco Louver" that exhausts heat without using electricity, released by Sahara Co., Ltd. on April 1.
Temperature-Sensitive Louvers Utilizing Shape Memory Alloy Technology
Sahara Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture) launched the natural exhaust ventilation device "Factory/Warehouse Exhaust Eco Louvers" on April 1st, aimed at solving the problem of heat accumulation indoors in large facilities such as factories, warehouses, and logistics centers.
In recent years, Japan has experienced rising temperatures during the summer, making indoor temperature increases a significant issue in large spaces like factories, warehouses, and logistics centers.
Particularly, the accumulation of heat near the roof leads to problems such as deteriorating working conditions, increased load on equipment, and rising air conditioning costs.
However, when introducing ventilation systems or large fans, the costs for equipment and electricity often increase, resulting in many cases where adequate measures are not taken.
To address these challenges, Sahara Co., Ltd. has developed the "Factory/Warehouse Exhaust Eco Louvers," which exhaust heat using natural forces without consuming electricity.
