【PRESS RELEASE】Nippon Steel Solutions and Izumo City sign a collaborative agreement for human resource development involving industry, government, and academia.
On July 24, 2023, a signing ceremony for this partnership agreement was held at the e-Grid headquarters, and the agreement was exchanged.
This agreement aims to foster and create employment for highly skilled IT engineers residing in Shimane Prefecture and Izumo City. By providing opportunities for IT engineers to engage in large-scale projects in the metropolitan area while based in rural areas, and by implementing a training and evaluation cycle for IT engineers in response to real projects, we will promote the development of highly skilled IT engineers capable of handling complex projects and the expansion of employment within Izumo City. In the future, we aim to create opportunities for highly skilled IT personnel connected to Izumo, including U-turn and I-turn individuals, to solve regional issues faced by Izumo City through digital transformation (DX) and contribute to the region's development.
