Henkel to unveil new automotive parts, body materials, and semiconductor materials at the 2025 YOKOHAMA Automotive Technology Exhibition.

Henkel Japan Corporation, the Japanese subsidiary of the German chemical and consumer goods manufacturer Henkel (Headquarters: Shinagawa, Tokyo, President: Seiji Asaoka), will exhibit at the "2025 Yokohama International Automotive Technology Exhibition" to be held at Pacifico Yokohama from May 21 to 23, 2025 (the entire event, including the online ONLINE STAGE 1, will run from May 14 to June 4, 2025). The exhibition will be a hybrid event combining in-person and online formats, and Henkel will participate in both.
At the Henkel Japan booth, we will showcase a new technology: a newly developed coating-type "UV-curable insulation coating for EV battery cells," which replaces conventional PET films used for insulation, as well as a newly developed coating-type "UV-curable pressure-sensitive adhesive" that replaces structural adhesive double-sided tape, with demonstrations of the coating and curing automation. Additionally, we will display a variety of the latest automotive parts, body materials, and semiconductor materials that contribute to the electrification, intelligence, comfort, and safety improvements of vehicles, based on successful adoption by automotive manufacturers and parts suppliers.
