Japan Engineering 2025 Scheduled to Exhibit at Hiroshima Waterworks Exhibition

The "WSS Water Screen" is a surface water intake device designed for water supply facilities. Our unique backwater intake method and special screen structure suppress the intrusion of leaves and sediment during water intake, and the screen surface is cleaned by washing it with excess water. This allows for stable water intake while preventing clogging. Traditionally, cleaning and emergency responses due to clogging at the intake point were frequent during rainy seasons or when there were many fallen leaves, but the introduction of the WSS has significantly reduced the number of cleaning operations, easing the maintenance burden on-site. The product accommodates daily volumes from 25 m³ to 5000 m³. The WSS for 25 m³ is compact and lightweight, making it suitable for existing weirs and limited installation spaces. Using optional U-shaped gutters can reduce construction costs. The WSS for 5000 m³ is a large-capacity model, making it suitable for use in water supply systems. Currently, it has been introduced in over 1,300 water supply facilities nationwide and is adopted by many municipalities as a reliable and proven product.

Install a portable small sedimentation tank after the water intake facility to suppress the inflow of sand into the filtration pond!

In small-scale water supply facilities such as drinking water supply systems, there may be cases where a sedimentation basin cannot be secured after extracting surface water from rivers and other sources. Large amounts of sediment flow into the filtration facilities, leading to filter clogging and causing equipment failures, which increases the maintenance burden, such as the costs for sludge removal from sedimentation and filtration basins and equipment repairs. ■ Inability to secure a sedimentation basin ■ Large amounts of sediment flow into filtration facilities These issues can be resolved by the portable small sedimentation tank "GCP-AK-25M," which can be transported manually! The small sedimentation tank has four features: 1. Portable and can be transported manually 2. Made of polycarbonate, weighing approximately 16.3 kg, making it lightweight 3. A low surface load rate of 163 mm/min, capable of removing sand particles larger than 0.05 mm 4. Significantly reduces filter clogging and cleaning work for sedimentation basins.
