The article about the overseas site inspection of the "Tamsui River Bridge" will be published in the February 2025 issue of "Bridges and Foundations"!
"Bridges and Foundations" is a specialized magazine on bridge technology published by Construction Library Co., Ltd. In late October 2024, a site inspection of the "Tamsui River Bridge" was conducted by the editorial committee of "Bridges and Foundations."
The "Tamsui River Bridge" is being constructed at the estuary of the Tamsui River, which separates Tamsui District and Bali District in New Taipei City, Taiwan, facing the Taiwan Strait. Once completed, it will have the longest span in the world for a single-tower, asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge. The design plan was created by the late Zaha Hadid, a world-renowned architect, who designed the single-tower, asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge. PERI's climbing systems (SCS) and (ACS) are being used in the construction of the main tower of this "Tamsui River Bridge," which will also become a historical heritage for Taiwan.
**The February 2025 issue of "Bridges and Foundations" will be released on February 6, 2025. We hope you will consider purchasing it.
