New product information: A new modular type of self-locking rack jack has been introduced, featuring a rack movement of 17 mm per one rotation of the input shaft.

庄司歯車エンジニアリング 庄司歯車エンジニアリング
This is the second product that combines a modular type jack with a reducer equipped with a new self-locking mechanism that does not use the conventional self-locking function's worm gear at all. The input shaft torque is light at 1.01 kgm at 100K, and a fast advance of 17 mm per rotation has been achieved. We propose this to customers who want to lift quickly with a small force and aim for space-saving in various factory production lines. Additionally, it is also possible to attach a guide rod (twin shaft type).

We will provide a collection of case studies: How to use the new self-locking mechanism, Shoji Lock?

This is a reduction device with a new self-locking mechanism (Shoji Lock) that replaces worm gear reducers. It includes a lineup of reduction gears, rack jacks, and winches.

Compared to conventional worm gear reducers, our compact design and high efficiency have received positive feedback. However, we also hear many voices expressing resistance or anxiety towards new products, as well as those who prefer to stick with traditional options. We encourage both those who are hesitant and those who love new things to take a look at our case studies and consider them. Conversely, we welcome valuable suggestions on potential applications as well!

Jack 50KN manual/electric rack jack with self-locking function

A jack that can lift a load of 50 kN with a light manual operating force (input shaft torque of approximately 11 Nm). It is an applied product of the new self-locking mechanism (Shoji Lock).

This is a jack developed for component maintenance. It is a manual jack equipped with a high-efficiency self-locking mechanism using spur gears, featuring the Shoji lock. The main body weighs 36 kg and is made of aluminum, designed with a focus on lightweight and manual operability. There are two input shafts (high/low), allowing for easy switching between quickly turning the handle when there is no load and applying force when there is a load, simply by changing the insertion of the handle. It can be widely used in places without power, as well as for disaster preparedness and energy-saving measures. It can also be used electrically.

We have published an article comparing and ranking six system construction manufacturers for 2026 on the Select Beam special site.

  • NEW
  • COMPANY

We have updated the article on the website of the semi-custom system construction "Select Beam." When planning factories, logistics warehouses, and stores, "system construction" has become an effective means of achieving cost reduction and shortening construction periods. The rationality of system construction through thorough standardization is very high, and it is adopted in many projects. However, due to the differing characteristics of each manufacturer, many business owners find themselves wondering, "Which manufacturer is suitable for our plans?" and "Is it really optimal compared to conventional methods?" In this article, we will compare and introduce the basic knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of system construction, as well as recommend manufacturers by purpose in a ranking format. ■ Semi-Custom System Construction "Select Beam" This is a unique method by Sakura Structure, and it is a "third option" that is less expensive than system construction. It is the most suitable method for low-rise long-span buildings such as stores, warehouses, factories, and logistics facilities, as well as high-rise buildings like hotels.

Comparison of Floor Slab Types and Selection Criteria: Cost Optimization for the Right Material in the Right Place

  • NEW
  • OTHER

"Because the ground is poor, we have no choice but to use a structural slab." Such fixed notions of "over-design" unnecessarily drive up construction costs. In large space buildings such as warehouses, factories, and stores, the choice of floor slab type is one of the most significant variables affecting construction costs. What is important is to compare and verify the advantages and risks of each type, and to derive the optimal solution that is "suitable for the purpose" for the entire building. By reading this content, you will understand the following points: - Characteristics of the five main construction methods with different support forms - Recommended situations for adoption - Cost comparison examples of floor slabs "I am struggling with the dilemma of floor settlement risks and costs on weak ground." "I want to know the optimal solution for the site without being tied to a specific construction method." Construction companies and general contractor representatives facing such issues are encouraged to take a look.
