We would like to introduce a successful application of the Sonic SP Dryer cable drying machine. A manufacturer of low-voltage wires and cables, as well as bare aluminum and copper wires, needed to install a spark tester before the final packaging process. This meant that the wire running at 3000 feet per minute (900 m/min) had to be completely dried before the spark test. Due to the rapid increase in line speed, traditional methods became costly and inefficient. If the cable is not completely dried, the inspection machine may misidentify it as defective. Because of the high-speed production at 3000 feet per minute (900 m/min), Sonic recommended the SP dryer.
