Optional stainless steel footrests available for retrofitting.

The door bottom used for the three-sided frame of opening doors with a bottom tight specification is valued as a mechanism that smartly seals the gap between the floor and the door. However, if the floor surface is uneven, it cannot effectively seal the gap, failing to fulfill its intended function.
Therefore, to complement the function of the door bottom, we have prepared an optional stainless steel threshold.
This stainless steel threshold is pre-processed at the factory with screw holes for installation on an already finished floor, and it also includes plugless anchors for securing it to the floor. As a result, processes such as floor chipping or backfilling are unnecessary, and it can be easily installed even after the door has been mounted.
For Sanwaiz double-opening doors, the threshold will be shipped with pre-processing for the French drop receiver. Accordingly, we will discontinue the use of the surface-mounted corner drop that has traditionally been used in the bottom tight specification for double-opening doors and will instead use an integrated French drop.
This option will be available starting August 1, 2012. When placing a new order for doors, please inform your sales representative if you require the stainless steel threshold. If it is needed for an already installed Sanwaiz door, please provide the external dimensions of the door frame.
