Our factory operates as a "Carbon Zero Print Factory" utilizing 100% renewable energy, achieving virtually zero CO₂ emissions for Scope 1 and 2. The printed materials produced at our factory are environmentally friendly, and we can provide CO₂ emission data sheets that calculate CO₂ reduction values for each project, as well as issue carbon offset certificates. Additionally, as a member of the Japan Sustainable Printing Association, we are able to display a mark certifying environmentally friendly printing.

Until now, Kenbunsha has been engaged in various environmentally friendly initiatives through printing technology aimed at cleanliness and energy conservation. As a result, in 2019, we received the highest award, the "Director-General of the Commerce and Information Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Award," at the 18th Printing Industry Environmental Excellent Factory Awards. Additionally, we have been registered as an "Amagasaki SDGs Partner" by Amagasaki City in Hyogo Prefecture, where our factory is located. Based on this achievement, we will strive to further enhance our efforts in CO2 reduction and actively promote our initiatives toward carbon neutrality, aiming for zero greenhouse gas emissions. The "Japan Sustainable Printing Association," established with the purpose of contributing to the healthy development of the printing industry and social contribution, promotes the dissemination of environmentally conscious printing, known as "environmentally friendly printing," and advances efforts toward realizing a sustainable society within the printing industry.
