A drone capable of autonomous flight without relying on GNSS uses a pole camera that can extend up to 11 meters to capture images of infrastructure structures (architecture and civil engineering). It extracts damage and creates damage diagrams using image analysis technology (AI and manual methods). This is a robot developed through joint research between Toyohashi University of Technology and Sanshin Kenzai Kogyo, designed to elevate and inspect exterior walls, with the development concept focusing on ensuring worker safety, addressing labor shortages, digitizing inspections and surveys, and securing flexibility in application through modularization.
