◆Learning Basic Knowledge as a Construction Engineer TechnoCom Co., Ltd. held the opening ceremony for the third term of the "Construction Manager Training Course" on May 7. The third term of the "Construction Manager Training Course" consists of 13 participants, including 7 men and 6 women. They will learn basic knowledge as construction engineers, such as CAD and surveying, with the goal of working as assistant supervisors on construction sites. The course content includes understanding blueprints, acquiring surveying and CAD skills, project management, quality control, safety management, legal training on construction industry laws, labor standards laws, and road traffic laws, as well as learning specialized terminology and business skills. The program lasts for 5 months, during which participants will be employed as full-time employees of TechnoCom and receive a salary. ◆Starting a Salary-Paid Training Program in 2023 Despite strong demand in the construction industry, a serious labor shortage is worsening, with an estimated shortage of about 900,000 workers by 2025. To address this issue, the company launched a salary-paid training program called the "Construction Manager Training Course" in January 2023, aimed at educating employees from the ground up and continuously developing talent. The first and second cohorts of the course, totaling 16 participants, have successfully transitioned to new careers in the construction industry.
