Simultaneously achieving countermeasures against counterfeit products and multilingual marketing: Launch of the counterfeit prevention service "Tagmake," which addresses the spread of counterfeit products on e-commerce and social media.

The Japan Distribution Management Support Organization has started providing a marketing tool called "TagMake," which simultaneously addresses counterfeit measures (genuine product certification) and multilingual marketing.
The economic impact of counterfeit and imitation products is said to be 515 trillion yen worldwide, and even Japanese manufacturers, known for their high quality and trusted overseas, are suffering significant damage. Additionally, the issue of consumers purchasing imitation products is spreading on e-commerce sites and messenger apps.
In addition to these measures, multilingual marketing strategies are also required to connect directly with consumers in the global market.
This service utilizes (1) the genuine product certification (authentication) service Hidden Tag, which has been implemented by over 800 companies worldwide, to prevent and verify the distribution of counterfeit products disguised as Japanese manufacturers, and (2) provides multilingual marketing that connects directly with overseas consumers through multilingual websites.
