The CO2 laser (carbon dioxide laser) from the Italian company El.En. (Ellen) regularly performs automatic gas exchanges, ensuring stable beam quality and laser output at all times. The RF1222/RF1555, in particular, has high output and high peak power, and is used for applications such as die board cutting, leather cutting, engraving on marble, and high-speed cutting. It is possible to measure CO2 laser light pulses at high speed.

The high-speed detector (power meter) for CO2 lasers from Germany's Fortec HTS uses a thermoelectric element with a fast response time (rise time of 1μs @300kHz) to measure the pulses of CO2 laser light. While it cannot measure laser output in absolute values, it is used to detect output fluctuations in relative values. There is also a type with a rise time of approximately 400ns available. Please prepare the DC power supply (±15V) and cooling equipment yourself.

The Destiny series from the American company IRADION is a high-output CO2 laser that is very compact compared to similar output products from other manufacturers, making it suitable for mounting on robotic arms. The CERAMICORE resonator structure, patented by IRADION, differs from traditional resonator structures in that the metal electrodes do not come into contact with the laser gas, preventing degradation of the laser gas and resulting in a long lifespan, high output stability, high pointing stability, high beam quality, and excellent pulse characteristics of the laser beam. There are also optional dedicated controllers and beam expanders available.

The output types range widely from 50 to 100W, and the oscillation wavelengths can be selected from 10.6 / 10.2 / 9.3 µm. Due to its compact size, the IRADION CO2 laser can easily replace the CO2 lasers currently in use. There are also options available for dedicated controllers, beam expanders, and high-speed pulse detectors.
