Reduce lead time and costs for sand casting with a 3D printer for casting.

There is not much difference between 3D printers for casting and traditional casting methods using basic wooden patterns. Why not take the first step in utilizing them together with our company?

A 3D printer for casting is a modeling method that imports 3D data created with CAD, etc., into a 3D printer to directly shape sand molds (cores, main molds, etc.). It is often referred to as a mold 3D printer or core molding machine, and it can shorten the lead time for the production of wooden or resin molds needed for complex shapes, as well as for sand packing and mold assembly before casting. Rather than relying solely on 3D printers, we recommend a hybrid operation that leverages the advantages of existing methods, the benefits of 3D printing, and your company's strengths and weaknesses by combining existing methods with 3D printing. **Features of Utilizing 3D Data and 3D Printers:** - It is possible to create casting 3D data by 3D scanning the product shape even without wooden molds. - For complex-shaped cores, many wooden molds are not necessary. → This allows for reduced lead times for wooden mold manufacturing, lower management and storage costs, and shortened assembly time and labor for cores. - Since 3D data is output, there is less variation, and the imbalance in cast products is also reduced. - 3D data can be used not only for modeling but also for verifying products against drawings. - 3D data can also be utilized for casting simulations and other applications. Why not try using a 3D printer this year? We will support you from data creation onward.

MIDAS Construction Field WEB Technical Course: Effects of Proximity and Co-location of Shield Tunnels and Design Consideration Methods [Construction / FEM Sequential Excavation Analysis]

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

Our company will invite professors who are active at the forefront of university research to hold a web technology course in the construction field. This time, as a follow-up to "The Effects and Design Considerations of Shield Tunnels in Proximity and Adjacent Situations - Part 1," which was published in July, we will have a lecture by Professor Noriyuki Horiuchi from Kokushikan University. In "Part 1," we explained the phenomena of the effects caused by proximity and adjacent shield tunnels, using examples of left-right adjacency and passing beneath existing tunnels, as well as the basic concepts of numerical evaluation. In "Part 2," we will focus on the vertical adjacency of large-section shields. We will introduce analytical methods for numerically evaluating the impact on existing tunnels, surrounding ground, and existing underground structures, using actual site measurement data and FEM sequential excavation analysis, specifically in cases where large-section shields are constructed above or below existing tunnels. We will also discuss methods for predictive analysis, design, and construction considerations. This course will be beneficial for those studying for the "Professional Engineer Examination," so please take this opportunity to participate. Additionally, this course is a CPD accredited program by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (planned), and you can also participate as part of engineer education. We sincerely look forward to your participation.

Achieving Results on a Low Budget! Webinar on Recruitment Strategies for Small and Medium Enterprises

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

In this webinar, we will clearly explain effective operational methods based on media characteristics, timing for posting, and points for improvement after publication. It is not only important to "collect applications" in recruitment. To prevent mismatches and early turnover after hiring, it is crucial to review the entire recruitment process, including how job information is conveyed and what to confirm during the selection process. Therefore, we will also introduce how to design the recruitment process to prevent discrepancies in understanding with job seekers and to enhance retention rates. Additionally, in small and medium-sized enterprises with few recruitment personnel, the workload involved in creating job postings, responding to applicants, and measuring effectiveness can become a significant burden. We will also explain how to systematize and streamline media operations to make recruitment tasks more efficient, allowing continuous recruitment activities even with limited personnel. Finally, based on the content introduced this time, we will organize and convey specific improvement actions that can be implemented starting tomorrow. Even companies that find it difficult to increase their recruitment budget may have the potential to enhance recruitment outcomes by reviewing their choice of job media, job postings, operational methods, and recruitment processes.

Utilization of the experimental design features of the statistical analysis software JMP in the manufacturing industry.

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

JMP is software that not only excels in statistical analysis and graph creation but also has robust features for experimental design. By utilizing experimental design, efficient data collection can be achieved while minimizing time and costs. In this seminar, we will focus on the features of experimental design, specifically the sample size explorer and Bayesian optimization, and demonstrate examples of their application in the manufacturing industry. 【Overview】 First half: Utilization of t-tests in the manufacturing industry and simulation of required data numbers We will explain the overview and examples of t-tests, which are used for various purposes in the manufacturing industry, and present analysis examples using JMP. Additionally, we will introduce a method to simulate the relationship between the required data numbers for t-tests and statistical power using the sample size explorer. Second half: How to utilize JMP Pro Bayesian optimization – Application to simulation experimental data The Bayesian optimization platform is originally designed for experimental data that includes measurement errors, but there is also a strong demand to apply it to simulation experimental data that does not contain errors, such as CAE. In this seminar, we will introduce approaches for utilizing Bayesian optimization with simulation experimental data.
