ISA Corporation (abbreviated as ISA, located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, President: Koji Yanagihara) will launch the USB bus-powered warning light "Keiko-chan 7UX" on January 10, 2023. The "Keiko-chan 7UX" has been developed as a successor to the three-light model "Keiko-chan 4UX," which was discontinued in August 2022, in response to the long-awaited requests from repeat customers. This popular warning light, which can be powered and controlled via a USB cable, retains the basic functions of the 4UX, while the 7UX introduces two new interface options: a type that connects only via USB (DN-1770UX) and a type that connects via USB and contact input (DI) (DN-1780UX). Both models can be controlled as external commands using a dedicated command tool for Windows, allowing control through command prompts, batch files, or applications. Additionally, control can be performed from Linux through device files. For example, on a production line, it can alert workers and those nearby about the "status" using lamps or buzzers, and in server rooms, it can notify about "abnormal conditions" in combination with temperature sensors, assisting users in their "awareness."

Free membership registrationWe have started selling the "DN-3600 series," which enhances some features of the popular "DN-3100" input/output (DIO) monitoring and control device series that celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, from October 1st. The input/output (DIO) monitoring and control device is used as a foundational device in data centers, communication facilities, and monitoring facilities. It monitors contact information from power equipment and various sensors, and performs status and anomaly monitoring of IT equipment and network devices used in combination with these. It can send information about state changes and commands to higher-level monitoring devices and applications connected via the network. When it detects an anomaly from signals, it quickly alerts surrounding workers and IT administrators of the occurrence of the anomaly through voice or email, enabling rapid response. Additionally, the collected status data can be utilized for equipment operation management, preventive maintenance, and analysis. Remotely monitoring and controlling devices that do not have a network interface contributes to reducing maintenance labor, improving work management efficiency, addressing labor shortages, and smartening up the workplace. Furthermore, with the launch of the new product, the "DN-3100A/B series" has ended sales as of the end of September 2022.

Free membership registrationThe Miura City Hall is implementing measures to prevent vaccine disposal by utilizing the "Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer Monitoring Solution," a system that automatically monitors temperature abnormalities and power failures in freezers used for storing COVID-19 vaccines. This initiative is featured on their website. The introduction of a system that monitors both temperature and power is a rare effort nationwide. <Purpose of Implementation> To monitor temperature and power abnormalities in freezers and ultra-low temperature freezers (deep freezers) storing COVID-19 vaccines, in order to prevent vaccine disposal accidents caused by power outages, equipment malfunctions, or human errors. <Results of Implementation> The system operated during power outages, allowing vaccines to be stored without compromising quality. Additionally, the vaccine storage environment (internal temperature and power abnormalities) can now be monitored from smartphones and PCs, leading to reduced work time for staff and improved operational efficiency. <Freezers monitored by the system at Miura City Hall> - One unit from Japan Freezer Co., Ltd. - One unit from PHC Corporation *For details about the system, please refer to the product PDF. *For more information, visit our company website or the Ipros introduction page. <Note 1> A 270W freezer with standard configuration has a backup of 2 hours and 45 minutes. In the case of maximum configuration (with two additional battery units), a backup of 5 hours and 5 minutes is possible.

Free membership registrationISAI Corporation has developed a high-function version of a carbon dioxide concentration measuring device, the "Indoor Environment Measurement Monitoring Device Miru-kun PRO <WD100-ENV-LCD>", which contributes to infection control and productivity improvement, and will start sales on January 21, 2022. This product displays the measured values of indoor temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration on a large LCD screen, while visualizing the environmental conditions with three colors of light according to different stages. It notifies users via email or alerts when ventilation is needed. Data is transmitted to a higher level using LoRa, a representative wireless communication method of LPWA, for visualization and analysis. A compact version model without an LCD <WD100-ENV> will also be released simultaneously. Both models allow for quick startup from installation, enabling measurement, monitoring, and countermeasures to begin in a short period. When combined with an additional contact input/output unit, it is also possible to coordinate and control ventilation systems. Up to 32 child devices can be connected to one main unit, and the communication between the measuring unit and the main unit uses LoRa wireless communication, covering areas and obstacles where Wi-Fi or Bluetooth cannot reach. It is also ideal for environmental monitoring in large factories and facilities.
