Understanding how young children learn numbers is an interesting theme in developmental psychology. Recent research has made intriguing discoveries about how toddlers who can recognize small quantities as numbers understand and differentiate them.

Eye contact is an essential element for us to connect with others emotionally. It helps us better understand the feelings and thoughts of the other person and enhances positive feelings related to social interaction. When two people make eye contact, their pupils adapt and change in size according to each other’s pupil size. This phenomenon is called pupillary contagion. It can appear as early as four months after birth and helps to build social connections, empathy, and mutual trust in social interactions.
