"Best Seal EW" is a sealing material that, upon contact with water, expands due to self-expansion pressure, completely sealing the water path in joints or connections and demonstrating a water-stopping effect. The water expansion effect can be repeated semi-permanently, helping to prevent leaks over many years. It is based on highly durable chloroprene rubber (CR), which possesses excellent rubber elasticity (restorative power) and expands in water, easily adapting to variations in joint spacing.
