Al-Drive is a drill screw with a special cutting edge that cuts and breaks up the chips to prevent them from getting caught. It is targeted for aluminum sash construction and is available in four colors—silver, gold, bronze, and black—to match the color of the sash. It is often difficult for regular screws to penetrate or fit. This drill screw is ideal for the cabal roof method (a construction method where a metal roof is placed over a slate tile roof). By sharpening the tip, it can penetrate even hard slate that would typically cause the tip of a regular drill screw to chip. The head is a special bind head that securely holds the metal roof while ensuring good bit engagement. The screw section is a coarse screw that firmly grips the sheathing board.
