We conducted an experiment on how completely dried wood is affected by the ventilation conditions under the floor in a test house. The "DRY PRO" Ver3 is an electronic dehumidifying and ventilation unit for underfloor use, combining a Peltier cooling device with a dedicated stirring and diffusion-type blower. In addition to the diffusion-type model "TYPE-D" for foundation insulation methods, a new model "TYPE-C" compatible with foundation packing methods has been added to the lineup. It can dehumidify even in areas where moisture tends to accumulate by stirring a wide range of air. It helps suppress moisture and condensation under the floor, contributing to the prevention of mold, pests, and decay fungi in wooden components. Furthermore, with the version upgrade in June 2024, a powerful dehumidification operation mode has been added. - The following modes can be selected: A (exhaust) mode, A (exhaust) mode & B (mixing & diffusion) mode, timer mode, and stop mode. - When using the hybrid sensor, the operation is based on changes in water vapor content (measuring relative humidity and temperature to calculate absolute humidity) in timer mode. If the water vapor content is below the set value, it operates in A (exhaust) and B (mixing & diffusion) modes; if it is above the set value, it operates in B (mixing & diffusion) mode. * Moist air from outside is not allowed to enter under the floor. When "HB" is lit on the display, it indicates hybrid operation, and a special mode with phytoncide for efficient operation of the phytoncide effect can also be set. * A buzzer notification function has been added (during the 5/10 year inspection period or when the optional underfloor leak sensor or abnormal detection ventilation system is in operation). * If you desire a stronger effect (operation) from the exhaust fan during the summer or if there is a lot of moisture under the floor, please change the sensor sensitivity level setting to "H04," "H05," or "H00."
