We conducted an experiment on how completely dried wood is affected by the ventilation conditions under the floor in a test house. Initially, the moisture content rises as it absorbs moisture from under the floor, but in the case of having a "subfloor ventilation fan" installed, the moisture content of the posts stabilizes at around 20%, as shown in the graph in the image. "Dry Pro" is a floor underfloor dehumidifying fan that effectively eliminates moisture and condensation, and is effective against mold, pests, and decay fungi in the wooden parts under the floor. Assuming the early stages of new construction using foundation insulation methods, 36 liters of water were sprayed on the underfloor foundation of each building, and dried wood (cedar) was installed to measure the moisture content of the wood and the humidity under the floor. As a result, the buildings where this product was installed gradually dried out by repeatedly operating the dehumidification process every day, and after about two months, an average of approximately 70% RH dry condition was confirmed even outside of dehumidification operation hours.
