Nitto Seiko Co., Ltd. will begin selling the head-embedded clinching stud bolt "JOISTUD(R)-FH," which does not protrude from the fastening member after press-fitting, starting December 1, 2024. *A patent for this product has already been filed. Clinching stud bolts are widely adopted in many industries, particularly in the automotive sector, and as the functionality of products increases and the number of components rises, there is a growing demand for miniaturization and space-saving designs. Additionally, commercially available low-head clinching stud bolts have experienced issues where the head deforms or sinks when fastened with high torque or subjected to external forces. In response to this background, we have developed the head-embedded clinching stud bolt "JOISTUD(R)-FH," which leverages the manufacturing technology of industrial fasteners (screws) and mold-making technology cultivated by our company through extensive research. This new product ensures high safety during fastening and prevents the head from protruding after press-fitting into the fastening member. Like conventional products, the new "JOISTUD(R)-FH" can be press-fitted into the fastening member, suppressing head protrusion and reducing head sinking due to axial force during fastening, thereby strongly supporting our customers' manufacturing processes.

Nitto Seiko Co., Ltd. will add a new low-torque model to its high-precision, high-function screw tightening driver: the NX Driver T3 series, with orders starting on August 1, 2024. This product is a screw tightening driver for low torque ranges from 0.2 Nm to 0.8 Nm, compatible with small diameter screw sizes of M2 and M3 classes. By implementing data collection and field network functions of the NX Driver T3 series, it will be possible to easily adapt to IoT for low torque screw tightening, including for ECU boards, home appliances, and precision instruments. Our company will continue to actively develop various high-function models aimed at further improving screw tightening quality.

Nitto Seiko Co., Ltd. has updated two models of its collaborative robot screw tightening unit: the PD400 series to comply with CE marking specifications, and will begin sales on February 1, 2024. Among the "Collaborative Robot Screw Tightening Unit: PD400 Series," which has received favorable reviews since its launch, two models have been updated to CE marking compliant specifications. When launching products within the EU, completed machinery must have CE marking and a Declaration of Conformity issued, while partially completed machinery requires a Declaration of Incorporation. The PD400 series falls under the category of "partly completed machinery" according to the EU Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC). We have now prepared Declarations of Incorporation for two models that are in high demand in the European market for Universal Robots and Techman Robots.

Nitto Seiko Co., Ltd. has released the flange-type locking bolt "Cup Bolt TM," which allows for the replacement of bolts incorporating spring washers and flat washers. This new product, which demonstrates a high locking effect, is currently pending patent application. Additionally, this product will be sold by both the manufacturer, Kyoei Seisakusho Co., Ltd. (a group company), and our company. The expansion of the product lineup from small diameter screws to large bolts embodies the synergy effects of our group, and we will continue to develop manufacturing that leverages the strengths of a comprehensive fastening component manufacturer.
