In particular, neodymium magnets and samarium-cobalt magnets have strong magnetic forces, and if they are attracted with too much force, there is a high risk of damage, so care must be taken when handling them. Please be careful not to attract nearby magnetic materials immediately after removal. Additionally, disc magnets with countersunk holes that can be fixed with flat head screws or bolts may break if tightened too much. Please consider the optimal tightening torque that will not damage the magnet.

Some magnets are treated with surface coatings such as nickel plating for rust prevention, but the surface treatment may peel off due to impact from attraction or aging, leading to rust. Care should be taken in handling to prevent damage to the surface treatment, and it is necessary to avoid areas with high moisture as much as possible. We can provide solutions such as epoxy coatings or nylon coatings that have high rust prevention effects, so please contact our company.

When the operating temperature is exceeded, it becomes difficult for the magnetic force to recover. Additionally, if the Curie temperature is exceeded, the magnetic force is completely lost. In cases of use in high-temperature environments, it is necessary to consider the operating environment temperature. Products with strong magnetic force, like rare earth magnets, are difficult to pull off. The magnet generates the strongest magnetic force in the vertical direction relative to its strong magnetic face. Therefore, by fixing one side and sliding the other parallel to the strong magnetic face, it can be relatively easily removed. If the size is considerable, placing it on the edge of a table and applying body weight from above can make it even easier to remove. Using tools to forcibly remove it may damage the magnet. You can determine the polarity by using a magnet with known polarity for identification or by using measuring instruments.
