Inovice (Taito Ward, Tokyo) has started a 20-year product warranty for its architectural breathable waterproof sheet series "Ritex." The warranty applies to "Ritex House Wrap" and "Ritex Silver," retroactively effective for shipments made on or after December 1, 2024. Both products are single-layer breathable waterproof sheets made using the Flashspan non-woven fabric "Hypack" from King Wills, achieving high strength and durability while being lightweight. They comply with JIS A 6111:2016 Sheet B standards and have obtained JIS certification after passing factory inspections by the Building Materials Testing Center. In particular, "Ritex Silver" is a high-performance type with heat insulation properties due to aluminum vapor deposition (infrared reflectance rate of about 85%) and is also excellent in water repellency and resistance to insecticides. Both products are soft types that minimize noise and have passed durability tests equivalent to 30 years, which has enabled this long-term warranty. Moving forward, the company aims to support the longevity of housing and ensure safe construction on-site through the provision of high-quality breathable waterproof sheets.
