Mizuno has jointly developed the Re Green Grass UMI series with Kaneka Corporation, featuring indoor artificial turf fibers and infill made from Kaneka’s biodegradable biopolymer, Green Planet(R). Today, marine plastic pollution is recognized as a serious global issue. While many sports facilities take measures to prevent artificial turf fibers and infill from escaping outside their facilities, materials can still unintentionally disperse over time due to wear, fragmentation, rain, and wind. The Re Green Grass UMI series offers a fundamental solution to this problem.
