Currently, Seven Corporation is preparing to establish a new production base in Hokkaido. SEA’S7 is a product made from natural materials derived from scallop shells and is based on 100% domestic raw materials and domestic production. In light of the recent instability in the supply of petroleum-derived products due to the situation in the Middle East, "stable supply" has become an important theme in the management of cleaning, degreasing, and cooling water in the manufacturing industry. Hokkaido is a major production area for scallops, and it is a region where a rich supply of raw materials and sustainable resource circulation can coexist. Through the concept of this base, we aim to achieve: - Stabilization of raw material procurement - Reduction of supply risks - Establishment of a further large-scale supply system to create a system that allows our customers to use our products with long-term peace of mind. SEA’S7 will continue to support manufacturing sites as a "cleaning and water treatment solution that never stops supplying."

Recently, against the backdrop of the Middle East situation, there has been ongoing instability in oil-derived materials and logistics. In Japan, concerns about the supply of crude oil and naphtha, which have a high dependence on the Middle East, are spreading. In the painting industry, there are increases in the number of bankruptcies, significant revisions in thinner prices, and movements towards shipment control. In this context, Seven Corporation is strengthening its proposals for the use of SEA’S7 for construction, painting, and equipment work sites. SEA’S7 is not "thinner itself" for diluting paint, but by reviewing processes that can be handled without thinner, such as degreasing and cleaning on-site, cleaning tools and jigs, removing oil stains from floors and handrails, and hygienic cleaning of temporary facilities, we can propose ways to reduce overall solvent dependence on-site. We are suggesting on-site trials for applications such as: - Degreasing and cleaning of substrates and metal fittings before painting - Cleaning of tools, buckets, jigs, and areas around equipment - Removing oil stains from floors, walkways, and around temporary scaffolding - Deodorizing and sanitizing temporary toilets, break rooms, and common areas - Cleaning of protective materials, carts, and transport equipment Rather than forcibly replacing processes that require thinner, we aim to "find and reduce processes that do not necessarily need thinner." We believe this is one of the realistic measures for future construction sites.

In light of the recent situation in Iran, concerns about supply instability and rising prices of petroleum-derived solvents have led to a rapid increase in the demand for alternatives to thinners and parts cleaners. Seven Corporation's "SEA’S7" utilizes a unique technology that leverages porous inorganic components derived from scallop shells to achieve cleaning power that does not solely rely on alkalinity, combining "adsorption + decomposition." Fats are saponified and decomposed, and then aggregated and separated through the action of calcium ions. In fact, the Mexican factory has successfully transitioned from thinner cleaning, and the factory in Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture, has adopted it for parts cleaner applications. With its odorless and low-irritation properties, it also contributes to improving the working environment, and its introduction as a water-based cleaning solution that balances safety and environmental considerations is expanding. Currently, due to the escalating tensions in the Middle East, the supply risk of petroleum-derived products is rapidly increasing. In particular, there are growing concerns about the supply and price surges of solvent and oil-based products commonly used in the manufacturing industry, such as: - Thinner - Petroleum-based solvents - Cutting oils and coolant fluids - Degreasers These issues are beginning to manifest at the operational level. This is not a temporary problem but needs to be understood as a structural risk. 【SEA’S7 as a solution】 "SEA’S7," provided by Seven Corporation, is a new option to address these challenges. 【Features of SEA’S7】 (1) Does not use petroleum-derived components SEA’S7 is a water-based solution made from inorganic components derived from scallop shells. It is not affected by petroleum supply risks. ...For more details, please visit our website!! https://www.7seven7.jp/topics/20260326.html

Cooling equipment accounts for 30-40% of power consumption in data centers. Improving its efficiency is key to cost reduction. The importance of cooling optimization has also been demonstrated by NREL, a research institution under the U.S. Department of Energy. In cooling towers, slime, scale, and biofilm hinder heat exchange and contribute to increased chiller load. SEA'S7 suppresses these issues and improves heat exchange efficiency. This leads to an effect equivalent to a 1-3°C improvement in condenser water temperature, resulting in an expected energy savings of about 1-10% in chiller power. Additionally, it has a proven track record of inactivating 99.997% of Legionella bacteria in cooling water within 180 seconds, making it effective for hygiene measures. It is an innovative aqueous solution that simultaneously achieves water quality improvement, energy savings, and reduced maintenance. We have recently started a demonstration experiment aimed at addressing antibiotic-resistant bacteria in dairy farming. Utilizing compost environments, we will examine the impact of using our technology-based aqueous solutions on microbial dynamics. This experiment is being conducted with field cooperation, aiming to establish a new approach that contributes to the realization of a sustainable livestock environment and the reduction of antibiotic usage. In this trial, we will set up a spray group (Group H) and a non-spray group (Group C), and will conduct a time-series comparison before spraying, immediately after spraying, and at 1, 3, 7, 14, 28, and 42 days, as well as at the maturation stage. We will perform sampling from the upper, middle, and lower layers of the compost at a depth of 10 cm, while simultaneously collecting temperature logs (external temperature and two internal compost temperatures) to analyze microbial changes and fermentation status from multiple angles. Based on scientific data, we will pursue a balance between safety and effectiveness, and work towards contributing to the livestock industry.

Seven Corporation has begun research and development related to rust prevention, aiming to expand the functionality of the natural multifunctional aqueous solution "SEA'S 7." This research is being promoted as a collaborative study with the Industrial Technology Research Institute. In recent years, the manufacturing industry has been seeking technologies that balance environmental impact reduction and improved work safety, making rust prevention measures after cleaning a critical issue. This research includes corrosion evaluation using metal test pieces, measurement of weight changes, and durability tests in a circulating water environment, advancing the understanding of rust prevention mechanisms and performance evaluation. In the future, we aim to develop a next-generation SEA'S 7 that incorporates rust prevention functionality in addition to cleaning, disinfection, and deodorization, contributing to the efficiency of manufacturing processes and the reduction of environmental impact.

To everyone, We have created an English version of the SEA'S7 overview document. Since last year, our overseas shipments have increased, and we are further strengthening our expansion into international markets (North America, Central and South America, Europe). As part of this initiative, we have welcomed new personnel to our overseas team, and by enabling more people across borders to utilize our product SEA'S7, we aim to contribute to solving challenges on-site and addressing environmental issues. For those of you living overseas, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or inquiries. We can provide product explanations in English.

Are you troubled by the recurrence of algae, slime, and scale in cooling towers, the increase in annual cleaning and chemical costs, and measures against Legionella? Seven Corporation's multifunctional aqueous solution "SEA’S 7" is a preventive maintenance solution that transforms cooling water into a "dirt-resistant environment" simply by being added to the cooling water. SEA’S 7 is made from 100% natural ingredients, destroys slime (biofilm), and suppresses the regrowth of algae and bacteria. It has also been tested to inactivate 99.997% of Legionella bacteria in just 180 seconds. In fact, at S Factory, foam disappeared within two days of implementation, and during the inspection one year later, it was evaluated as "no algae or sludge adhesion," leading to the conclusion that annual cleaning was unnecessary the following year. SEA’S 7, which simultaneously achieves reductions in cleaning costs, electricity, and chemical expenses while ensuring safety and environmental compliance, is also ideal for equipment improvements at the end of the fiscal year.
