Our company has focused on inexpensive plastic compared to metal and developed a "bone fixation pseudo plate" that appears on X-rays while keeping costs down. Normally, plastic does not appear on X-rays because it is X-ray transparent; however, we solved this issue by mixing in a contrast agent. Furthermore, by adjusting the thickness and the amount of contrast agent, it has become possible to make it appear semi-transparent on X-ray images. This product is an air filter system assembly for off-road motorcycles that achieves weight reduction, compactness, and a decrease in airflow resistance. By integrating component functions and adopting a modular air cleaner design, the number of parts has been significantly reduced, resulting in a weight decrease of 35%.
