Free membership registrationWe are pleased to announce that "GenVital," a health management solution for on-site workers developed in collaboration with Obayashi Corporation, will begin operation in 2025, targeting thousands of workers primarily in civil engineering sites, following its implementation at construction sites managed by Obayashi Corporation starting in 2024. Analysis after the end of the 2024 season confirmed that the use of "GenVital" reduced the incidence rate of health issues to 0.1% (*1), and it has been decided that operations will continue in 2025. *1 According to a report from Obayashi Corporation, as of October 1, 2024, there were 3 cases of health issues among 3,000 people surveyed. Additionally, we plan to provide an improved version of "GenVital," called "GenVital LTE," at construction sites managed by Obayashi Corporation. For release information about "GenVital LTE," please check the related link on the page titled "Health Management Solution 'GenVital LTE' to be launched in May 2025." *GenVital is not a medical device and is not a product for preventing or diagnosing heat-related illnesses.

Free membership registrationWe are pleased to announce a major renewal of the rebar inspection AR system "BAIAS" on July 1, 2025. By refreshing the UI design and implementing updates that significantly enhance user experience while maintaining robust measurement functions, we aim to evolve into a more intuitive and user-friendly system, thereby improving user convenience and work efficiency. <Renewal Details> - New UI Design Significantly Enhancing Usability We have completely revamped the application's logo and the entire user interface (UI). With highly visible icons and an intuitive layout, we have created a design that allows even first-time users to operate smoothly without confusion. This supports rapid inspections on-site. - Efficient Data Management Functionality We have newly implemented the ability to create and edit storage locations for measurement data in the cloud. This allows the on-site iPad Pro to focus solely on measurement functions, enabling workers to concentrate on inspections. By providing a system where administrators can centrally manage data storage locations, we strengthen collaboration between the field and back office, significantly reducing the effort required for data management. *For details and the full text, please check the link.

Free membership registrationWe are pleased to announce that starting May 1, 2025, we will begin offering the health management solution "GenVital LTE." GRIFFY has been providing the health management solution "GenVital" for field workers since 2024, which collects workers' heart rate data via a wristband and transmits it to the cloud through a master and slave device. This time, we will change the wristband to the LTE-compatible "mSafety" device provided by Sony Network Communications Inc., enabling the collection of location data in addition to heart rate. This allows us to directly obtain workers' heart rate and location data without the need to install master and slave devices, regardless of the work location. With a simple configuration, we support safer and more efficient site management by understanding workers' real-time health and location information.

Free membership registrationThe virtual sign display system "VirtuaSign" has been made available starting April 16, 2025. It displays highly visible virtual signs at tunnel construction sites and nighttime construction sites, contributing to safety management. ◾️ Product Overview VirtuaSign is a system that projects pre-set signs from a high-brightness light source mounted on the main device, which are configured in advance on the cloud at the site office. By projecting bright and clear signs at tunnel construction sites and nighttime construction sites, it effectively informs site workers of restrictions and raises awareness. The main device is equipped with a communication terminal, allowing connections to the cloud via LTE, wired LAN, or Wi-Fi. It is also possible to project sensor information and surveillance camera footage installed at the construction site through the cloud. In this development, we collaborated with Casio Computer Co., Ltd. to conduct demonstration experiments at construction sites. Casio not only provided the dedicated embedded projection module "LH-200" but also offered technical support and cooperation to ensure durability, jointly developing and designing the protective housing to achieve a product with environmental performance suitable for construction sites.

Free membership registrationWe are pleased to announce that we will begin offering the generator operation monitoring system "G-Save," which enables notifications for the power ON/OFF of generators operating at construction sites and remote monitoring of generator operating conditions, starting in March 2025. ■ Overview of the Generator Operation Monitoring System "G-Save" Generators are widely used at construction sites for necessary lighting, drainage pumps, and the operation of monitoring equipment such as network cameras. However, running them unnecessarily can lead to increased environmental impact due to fuel waste and concerns about noise affecting the surrounding areas of construction sites. "G-Save" connects to the generator's outlet and collects the generator's operating status via mobile communication to a cloud server, allowing for email notifications of the generator's power ON/OFF status. It also collects data on the operating hours throughout the day and the cumulative operating time after pressing the switch included with the "G-Save" unit, making it accessible for remote viewing at any time. The system can be installed in a space-saving manner by adhering it to the generator housing with a powerful magnet. It is expected to help reduce environmental impact caused by forgetting to turn off the power and to facilitate efficient fuel replenishment for the generator.

Free membership registrationWe are pleased to announce that we will begin offering the emergency earthquake alert response patrol light "Patroid-Shin," which receives emergency earthquake alerts in outdoor environments and immediately notifies the surroundings with a rotating light and sound to raise awareness of strong tremors and ensure the safety of on-site workers, as a dedicated package product starting in January 2025. When the Japan Meteorological Agency issues an emergency earthquake alert predicting a maximum seismic intensity of 5 lower or higher, the emergency earthquake alert will be immediately received via mobile phone operators in areas where seismic intensity of 4 or higher is expected. The emergency earthquake alert patrol light "Patroid-Shin" installed in the area will activate, illuminating the rotating light and announcing the issuance of the emergency earthquake alert audibly. Thanks to its solar power, multiple units can be installed in various locations, allowing information to be received even when a smartphone is not carried. For example, at construction sites, it enables safety measures such as lowering crane loads to safe locations and evacuating workers from unstable scaffolding, thereby helping to reduce damage.

Free membership registrationWe are pleased to announce that the outdoor wireless transmission device "G-Wave" was registered in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's new technology information provision system "NETIS" on March 12, 2025. NETIS Registration Number: KT-240171-A Technology Name: Network Construction System for Communication Dead Zones "G-Wave" This technology builds a network environment using wireless LAN, starting from satellite communication broadband "Starlink Business" and mobile communication networks. It has been implemented in over 20 sites, including sediment control work and dam construction in mountainous areas, tunnel construction, agricultural pipelines, and sewer systems. By enabling the use of various services requiring communication at construction sites with communication dead zones, it achieves labor-saving in construction management and inspections, thereby improving construction efficiency, which is why it has been registered in NETIS.

Free membership registrationOn January 16, 2025, we added a function to the rebar inspection AR system "BAIAS" that allows the input of design slopes, which are reflected during measurement, and began providing this feature. Additionally, with the implementation of this function, we would like to inform you that we have confirmed compliance with the allowable error of ±5mm (comparison value for individual rebar spacing) as stipulated in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's implementation guidelines through on-site verification. In July 2023, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism established the "Implementation Guidelines (Draft) for Rebar Shape Measurement Utilizing Digital Data," which requires an allowable error of ±5mm for slab work, necessitating high measurement performance. In slab work, it is often necessary to establish slopes in both vertical and horizontal directions, making it difficult to align the measurement surface with the rebar in such cases. Therefore, "BAIAS" has added a function to input the design values of the slope in advance and reflect them on the measurement surface. We also conducted on-site verification tests at Muramoto Construction Co., Ltd. and confirmed that the AR marker measurement mode of "BAIAS" meets the allowable error of ±5mm. Moving forward, "BAIAS" will continue to promote functional updates aimed at improving productivity on-site.
