ROCKWOOL Group announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2024. Revenue was €957 million (approximately ¥153 billion, based on an exchange rate of €1 = ¥160), representing a 5% increase year-on-year in local currency terms. On a reported basis, it increased by 6%. The EBIT margin was 18.1%, up by 1.9 percentage points. ROCKWOOL Group announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2024. Revenue reached €1.01 billion (approximately ¥162 billion, based on an exchange rate of €1 = ¥160), representing a 10% increase in local currency compared to the second quarter of 2023. The EBIT margin was 18.7%, an increase of 4.2 percentage points from the previous year. "We are pleased with the performance of sales and earnings in the second quarter, with revenues reaching an all-time high. This result was driven mainly by increased sales volumes in multiple regions, stable prices, and very efficient operations. The growth in sales volumes was particularly strong in Eastern Europe, North America, and South Asia. While new construction in Western Europe continues to face challenges, the renovation and industrial sectors performed better than new construction. Overall, sales were strong in Germany, Italy, Spain, and Sweden, but not as much in France and the UK," said CEO Jens Birgersson. ROCKWOOL Japan LLC has obtained a one-hour fire-resistance structural certification (Certification Number FP060CN-1053) for square steel pipe columns (150x150x9mm or larger) and round steel pipe columns (φ191x9mm or larger). Until now, we have been manufacturing and selling the fire-resistant wrapping material "Tekkaroll" using the certification of the company from which we acquired the business for fireproofing steel structures. With the new certification obtained, we can further expand our sales. The wrapping fireproofing material has the advantage of generating significantly less dust and noise during and after construction compared to sprayed fireproofing materials, and it can be installed concurrently with other construction work. Moving forward, we aim to continue obtaining fire-resistance structural certifications for "Tekkaroll" and increase the number of certifications to expand our sales in the market.

ROCKWOOL Group announced its financial results for 2023. Revenue reached 3,620 MEUR (580.3 billion yen, based on an exchange rate of 160 yen per euro), representing a 4% decrease in local currency terms and a 7% decrease on a reported basis. EBIT for the fiscal year 2023 increased by 29% to 518 MEUR (83 billion yen), with an EBIT margin of 14.3%. This includes a donation of 27 MEUR (4.3 billion yen) to the Ukraine Reconstruction Fund, which was approved by shareholders in 2023.
