We received a request for design and construction. Aging processing was done to make new furniture look old. As a first attempt, we used items that are typically not used in interior design. Since this facility attracts a wide range of age groups, it was required to create a somewhat ageless space. At this significant milestone of our 7th anniversary, we received a request stating, "We want to start fresh and provide even better hospitality to our customers in a new store." While the client desired a sterile space to highlight the products, we paid particular attention to the lighting plan to create an even more inorganic atmosphere. Since it is primarily a reservation-only establishment, we did not make any special announcements or install prominent signs. Originally an izakaya, this establishment had dim lighting, making it quite dark inside. Since it is a family restaurant-style ramen shop, a bright atmosphere was required, so we completely re-planned the lighting design. The exterior is designed to be easily recognizable as a ramen shop, and we aimed to convey the shop's unique selling points and features without needing to enter the store. Regarding the exterior, the color scheme is instantly recognizable as Italian. Additionally, we processed bells, which are derived from the store's name, to create lighting fixtures. We also accompanied the selection of chairs, decorative items for the store interior, and tableware, ensuring that there was always alignment with the concept. "We want the atmosphere of a Parisian apartment, but without too much fuss," were some of the various requests we received. As a result, we decided to change the image in each room. Some rooms have exposed ceilings and only painted walls, while others have had their wall structures redone and new wallpaper applied, creating a space with various faces. We would like to introduce the construction results at romohair, which opened close to the Mandokuyakujin Shrine in Nishinomiya City. At this facility, there were various thoughts such as "I want to create a space that eases the tension of visiting a hair salon for the first time" and "Even in a not-so-large shop, I want to provide careful treatments to each customer so they can relax and enjoy their time." It is a hair salon that feels like a café, where you can relax without any pretentiousness or pressure.
