The "US Card - As Card" is a next-generation IC card that stores all components such as CPU, memory, and sensors within a credit card standard (thickness 0.76mm). Despite being an IC card, it achieves a third-party acceptance rate of less than 0.01% and a self-rejection rate of less than 3%, functioning as a high-security card that prevents others from managing one's biometric data by storing highly encrypted fingerprint data inside the card. It can be used safely without a battery, and when held up to a contactless reader, it receives power and enters a standby mode for authentication. In this state, it compares the fingerprint from the sensor with the fingerprint data stored in the card, and communication as an IC card only begins if authentication is successfully completed.
