We would like to introduce the effects of the "Raiden Unit" handled by FPC Co., Ltd. We conducted a "cooling test using the evaporative cooling effect of the layered FAN cover" by using a towel that has been heated with hot water and well wrung out to simulate the underwear or skin surface when sweating. A cooling unit was placed in the center of the towel, and a temperature sensor was attached to the heat-absorbing plate. As a result of the test, the surface temperature of the back, where the heat-absorbing plate directly contacts, showed a cooling effect of approximately -10°C within 5 minutes. The "Reidan Unit" is a heating and cooling device that employs a double cooling method combining "contact cooling" and "evaporative cooling." It can be worn under existing wear (such as protective clothing, dustproof clothing, surgical gowns, etc.), making it usable in various environments where regular air-conditioned work clothing cannot be worn, significantly improving workplace conditions. The double cooling method utilizes conductive cooling (contact cooling) and evaporative heat to create a cooling effect. The role of conductive cooling is to directly absorb heat from the skin while simultaneously removing humidity that rises from sweating as condensation, thereby reducing discomfort levels.
