Located in the eastern part of the ancient city of Almaty, considered one of the most scenic areas in Kazakhstan, the "Oikarakai Forest Fairy Tale Ski Resort" has implemented various solutions from Axess AG, including an entry management system, as part of a large-scale facility upgrade marking its 10th anniversary. The Oikarakai Forest Fairy Tale Ski Resort, which features slopes of various levels (total length of 13 km) that attract enthusiastic winter sports fans, transports 9,000 guests per hour with 11 lifts. Targeting families in particular, this resort offers a wide range of activities throughout the year, including skiing in winter and climbing in summer. The newly introduced systems include entry gates, ticketing systems at counters and online, rental systems, and a resort information app, enabling contactless and non-face-to-face operations that are especially sought after in the COVID era. Additionally, the simultaneously introduced customer management system allows for tailored services for each guest. The implementation of this comprehensive system not only reduces operational burdens but also significantly enhances convenience for guests.

Free membership registrationAxess AG supplied contactless entry gates and ticketing systems to the resort Mont Édouard located in eastern Canada’s Quebec province. The automatic ticket gates AX500 Smart Gates NG installed at the lift boarding area feature flap-style gates that allow for smooth passage without contact. There is no risk of bags or poles getting caught. For those purchasing lift tickets on-site, the Axess SMART PRINTER 600 ticket printer and the Axess SMART PAD 600 reader/writer support operations at the lift ticket counter. The SMART PRINTER 600 enables speedy ticket issuance by printing, erasing, reading, and writing IC cards (ISO15693/ISO14443) in a single operation. The SMART PAD 600 reads and writes information stored on IC cards and chips. Mont Édouard, wanting to provide customers with a wonderful outdoor experience amidst the need for new health measures, conducted a six-month investigation into various ticketing systems used not only within Quebec but also domestically and internationally, ultimately choosing Axess.

Free membership registrationAxess Japan has added a mobile gate to its lineup of entrance gate AX 500 Smart Gate NG, equipped with Wi-Fi functionality and a rechargeable battery, making it easy to move with a caster-equipped pallet. This eliminates the need for network and power wiring, allowing you to set up the entrance wherever you like at any time. When not in use, it can be stored away, enabling you to decide whether to use the gate for each event. The gate has built-in Wi-Fi functionality, allowing you to know the entry status in real-time. The battery can be used for 10 hours under normal usage. With the caster-equipped pallet, the mobile gate can be easily transported by one person, and the entrance configuration can be changed depending on the event. Ticket validation is completed simply by holding a QR code ticket or an IC card, such as an annual pass, over the ticket reading area.

Free membership registration"To manage lift tickets more conveniently," in response to such requests from guests not only at ski resorts, Axess has developed the new AX500 Smart Gate NG BLE, which allows hands-free passage using lift tickets stored on smartphones via Bluetooth. This enables a contactless experience from purchasing lift tickets to riding the lifts, allowing visitors to enjoy skiing safely. The use of the new contactless system is very simple. Guests can purchase lift tickets online from anywhere they like and save them in a smartphone app. Then, at the ski resort, they can pass through the gate with their smartphone still in their clothing. The lift ticket automatically connects to the gate via Bluetooth for validation, eliminating the need to take the smartphone out of their clothing or remove gloves to present it, allowing for contactless access to the lifts. There is no need to wait in line at the lift ticket counter or worry about social distancing. The AX500 Smart Gate NG BLE promises a more convenient and safer future and will be tested in six ski areas across Europe for the 2020-21 season.

Free membership registrationAxess has developed a gate that detects body temperature and whether a mask is being worn, suitable for the post-COVID era. It prevents individuals with fever or without masks from entering, contributing to the prevention of the spread of infection. Changes in the environment create new solutions to respond to them. As the importance of measures against the novel coronavirus increases, Axess has developed a new gate aimed at preventing the spread of infection. By measuring body temperature at the entrance gate, it detects those with fever and checks for mask-wearing, enforcing entry restrictions. It is ideal for stadiums, museums, exhibition venues, leisure facilities, and pools, where new innovations in operations are required. "We acted quickly based on requests from various markets," says Oliver Suter, CEO and CSO, who, along with the development team, advanced the new product project, enabling implementation in a very short period. In the future, all of Axess's product lineup will include body temperature measurement and mask detection functions, and facial recognition systems are also planned to be added.

Free membership registrationThe Swiss high-end ski manufacturer, Stöckli Swiss Sports AG, will introduce the Axess rental system in its stores. Founded in 1935 by Joseph Stöckli, Stöckli Swiss Sports AG has been family-owned since its inception and has been selling products directly since 1967. The first store, which is still in operation today, was opened in Sörenberg in 1981. Stöckli, known for its commitment to quality, has chosen Axess as its partner for rental operations. The Axess rental system provides a smooth rental flow through applications made online, at self-registration terminals, or at service desks. In particular, applications made online or at local self-service terminals are ideal for the COVID era, where minimizing contact with others is a priority. Additionally, a thorough inventory management system using QR codes reduces the effort involved in rental operations.
