This individual identification system is expected to reduce the burden on experienced professionals and alleviate the issue of successor training. We are also engaged in IoT initiatives, collaborating on the development of solutions to detect anomalies from environmental data (such as temperature, humidity, and illumination) in data centers.

In order to promote the local industry in Niigata, we are considering "how we can be of assistance through IT," and with the cooperation of Dai Nichi Koi Farm Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture), we are working on the development of a "Koi Individual Identification System." The koi farming industry relies heavily on the experience and intuition of craftsmen. It was difficult for the on-site personnel alone to grasp the entirety of this vast and complex data and to capture abnormal data that indicates signs of failure. By combining the expertise of the personnel with our data analysis technology, we created a model that helps predict failures from the operational data. At Company A's Niigata factory, visual inspections of product appearance (determining pass/fail and identifying defects) are conducted manually, which is a time-consuming and labor-intensive task. Improving productivity and quality in this visual inspection process and streamlining the inspection is an urgent issue that needs to be addressed. A machine learning model (AI) was created to determine pass/fail and identify defects based on past product inspection images, and it has been implemented in the inspection process.
