The small tubes of the seawater cooling system in power plants not only experience a decrease in heat exchange efficiency due to slime, purple mussels, and barnacles, but also cause pinholes in the tubes due to the attachment of marine organisms, erosion from changes in flow velocity, and deposit attacks occurring in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, routine cleaning with sponge balls and backwashing alone cannot completely remove the attached organisms. Thorough cleaning is necessary during regular inspections. In our small tube cleaning work, we remove dirt using "Bullet Cleaning," as well as "Spin Brushing" and "Hydro Bit Cleaning."
