We conducted tests using a rotary kiln that moves the samples, resulting in uniform heat treatment without unevenness. ◆ Tests involving heating treatment with stationary samples During heat treatment tests of powder in a rotary kiln, the powder tends to clump together significantly. Therefore, we introduced a special powder container in a muffle furnace and efficiently processed the powder by directly flowing hydrogen into the powder container, preventing it from solidifying. Many customers are considering transitioning to a rotary kiln when heat treatment does not go well in their current furnace. We also provide suggestions for gases suitable for each sample. This equipment can be used for the sintering, sintering, reduction, oxidation, nitriding, and drying of powder materials, including batteries. Since it stirs the powder while drying and heat treating in a rotary manner, there are no inconsistencies. There are two types of rotary kilns: "batch type" and "continuous type." The "batch type" can process mixing, drying, and heat treatment in one go.
