We would like to introduce our inorganic materials business conducted at our Fujisawa factory's manufacturing department. We utilize technologies such as "composite oxide manufacturing technology" using organic acid salt methods, and "oxide fine particle technology" capable of grinding down to the nano level using bead mills and ball mills. The aqueous solutions and gels processed at our company have a wide range of applications, including plating solutions, trace additives, and coating agents. We would like to introduce the melting equipment used in our metal materials business. We possess a "high-frequency vacuum melting furnace" for melting metals with a melting point below 1,600°C, a "skull melting furnace" for high-purity metals with a melting point below 2,000°C, and "small and medium arc melting furnaces" capable of melting high-melting-point metals with a melting point exceeding 2,000°C. Our metal materials business is based at the Fujisawa Factory and the Fukushima Yamatsuri Factory. We mainly undertake contract processing of metal materials, focusing on the melting, heat treatment, and production of various metals. The Fujisawa Factory is equipped with a vacuum high-frequency induction melting furnace, a skull melting furnace, an atomization device, and heat treatment furnaces, establishing a system that contributes to the research and development, prototyping, and mass production of metal materials. Our graphite spheroidization rate determination device, the "ND Tester," available in our equipment business, is widely used in various fields, including research and on-site applications, as a management and assurance tool for non-destructive quality assessment of spheroidal graphite cast iron products. The ND Tester not only determines the spheroidization rate of spheroidal graphite cast iron but also estimates the tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, and calculates the Young's modulus of cast iron products that include flake graphite. Additionally, we handle various testing equipment and devices related to casting. Since its establishment, the alloy iron division has manufactured and sold various inoculants, including nodular graphite cast iron nodulizers (KC agents, KC alloys) and flake graphite cast iron inoculants, contributing to the development of the industry through popularization activities that include usage methods. Furthermore, not only these molten metal treatment agents but also from the manufacturing and sales of non-destructive testing equipment that can check the quality of castings to sand additives, we are continuously striving together with our customers to create the best castings in the world. In our chemical business, we are engaged in the provision and contract development of single and composite metal compounds in powder form, organic acid complex aqueous solutions, and other functional materials, utilizing our technologies in metal-organic acid complex synthesis (such as citrate and malate), morphology control (such as plate-like and needle-like), and material evaluation (such as SEM and XRD). Single and composite compounds can be used as materials for fuel cells (SOFC), catalysts, superconductors, and electronic components, while organic acid complex aqueous solutions can be used as trace additives or coating materials.
