Our company conducts "refraction seismic exploration." This survey method involves observing refracted waves that have returned after being refracted at boundaries of strata with different underground velocities, using measuring devices installed on the surface to determine the underground velocity structure. Artificial elastic waves (P-waves or S-waves) are generated near the surface, for example, by blasting. 【Features】 ■ Utilizing the property of increased elastic velocity, we indirectly estimate ground conditions from the elastic wave velocity structure and the relationship between elastic wave velocity and layer thickness. ■ In bedrock, we use the P-wave velocity, which varies due to rock quality, hardness or softness of the bedrock, degree of weathering or alteration, and the state of fractures, as a parameter to infer the quality of the ground from differences in elastic wave velocity distribution. ■ In the field of earthquake engineering, the obtained elastic wave velocities and layer thicknesses are directly used for seismic design or seismic response analysis. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationOur company conducts "underground buried object and cavity surveys." In recent years, there have been increasing cases where cavities and underground buried objects present in the foundation ground become obstacles in the design and construction of new urban civil engineering and architectural projects. Among these, the destruction of buried gas pipes in urban areas and ground subsidence or collapse due to cavities pose significant risks, making their investigation crucial. Various exploration methods are applied for these buried objects and cavity surveys, depending on the target object and depth, and it is important to select the appropriate exploration method. 【Various Exploration Methods】 ■ Electrical Survey ■ Electromagnetic Survey ■ Seismic Survey ■ Fiberscope *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationOur company conducts "physical exploration in mountain tunnels," which has traditionally been applied as an important survey method. Mountain tunnels are the most commonly constructed structures in the civil engineering field, and detailed surveys are necessary before and during construction. For surveys at the tunnel route and at the portal areas with minimal soil cover during the construction planning phase, refraction seismic exploration and resistivity 2D surveys are primarily applied. During construction, PS logging through horizontal drilling and shallow reflection seismic exploration are used as face exploration methods. 【Physical exploration methods applicable in tunnels】 ■ Elastic wave exploration ■ Drilling ■ Electrical exploration ■ Electromagnetic exploration *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe offer "levee surveys" as part of our disaster prevention investigations. Since river levees are long linear structures, their strength and hydraulic structures are not uniform, and the extraction of local anomalies becomes the main focus of the investigation. Therefore, there are limitations to surveys that rely solely on boring in terms of cost-effectiveness and construction feasibility, and the application of physical exploration is anticipated. Items to be understood in the survey include the soil composition of the levee, the presence of foreign materials, the distribution of permeable layers and liquefaction layers, cavities or looseness around structures such as sluice gates, and the presence of cavities behind the revetment. [Survey Targets] ■ Levees ■ Landslides ■ Earthquake resistance ■ Active faults ■ Liquefaction ■ Slope failures *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
