Due to the arrangement of the NC machines, "blind spots" are created, preventing the operator from checking the operational status of all the machines at once. As a result, the operator had to regularly move to each machine to visually confirm its operational status. To improve this situation, Company X implemented a collective display light system for the operational status of NC machines using products from Patlite, which reduced unnecessary movement by the operator and alleviated the anxiety and tension associated with not being able to grasp the operational status.
