We migrated the system from an aging server to AWS to reduce operational costs, which involved upgrading the existing system primarily based on PHP and transitioning from Oracle to AWS Aurora. This allowed us to minimize the costs associated with database redundancy while enhancing fault tolerance and reducing recovery time. Additionally, we were able to reduce the licensing costs associated with Oracle.
