- CVD diamonds are diamonds synthesized by chemical vapor deposition methods. Depending on the manufacturing method, they can be broadly classified into hot filament (thermal excitation) and plasma (discharge excitation) methods. - Being 100% carbon diamonds without binders, they excel in the inherent properties of diamonds such as high hardness, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, electrical insulation, and high thermal conductivity. Additionally, because they are polycrystalline, there is no need to consider crystal orientation during use. - They can be used for dressers, wire drawing dies, cutting tools, heat dissipation materials (heat sinks), optical lenses, and laser windows.
