This technology is a rust prevention method that applies a penetrating rust inhibitor to the surface of reinforced concrete to non-destructively protect the internal rebar from rust. While traditional methods have existed for applying coatings to the surface of reinforced concrete, they have been effective in suppressing the entry of external deterioration factors but have had little effect on already existing deterioration factors (such as chloride ions and areas of carbonation), resulting in insufficient rust prevention effectiveness. In this technology, a newly developed high-penetration rust inhibitor (Sabiran A) is applied to the surface of existing concrete and allowed to penetrate sufficiently into the interior (the surface tension of Sabiran A is 1/2.7 that of conventional products), non-destructively suppressing the latent deterioration of the rebar caused by internal deterioration factors. Furthermore, by applying a water-tightness enhancing agent (Sabiran P), the method simultaneously suppresses further entry of external deterioration factors, thereby providing long-term and stable rust prevention effectiveness for the rebar within the reinforced concrete. ■ Technical Explanation of the Improved Penetration of Sabiran A The rust prevention effect of Sabiran is achieved through the action of a rust inhibitor composition that contains the following composite surfactants: - Specific ether-type nonionic surfactants (maximum surface tension reduction capability) - Water-insoluble specific surfactants (significant wettability enhancement capability)

Free membership registrationThe "KS Method" is a repair technique designed to stop water leakage from joints and cracks in concrete structures such as underground joint trenches, tunnels, box culverts, and manholes. It is a resin-based sheet-type waterproofing method that excels in long-term durability. 【Features】 ■ With a double structure of waterproof sheets and protective nets, it demonstrates resistance to groundwater pressure and can adapt to external water pressure of 0.1 MPa or less (equivalent to a water depth of 10 m). ■ It follows horizontal displacements (up to 20 mm) caused by earthquakes, preventing re-leakage from the repaired area. ■ It does not require special construction tools, minimizing the need for cable relocation even in tunnels with congested cables, thus demonstrating high workability. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
