As for the design of OPP bags, there are many customers who request punch holes. The purposes vary, such as holes for displaying products in stores or for promotional use to attach to PET bottles. This time, we would like to introduce a bag that solves the problem of products tilting when hung for display. Typically, punch holes are often placed in the center, but this time we have positioned the hole off to one side. The location of the hole can be accurately determined by discussing the dimensions on all sides. However, as it stands, the product may move within the bag, and the tilting issue cannot be resolved. To address this, we utilize partition seals. By applying a partition seal on the opposite side of the punch hole, we can prevent the product from moving significantly within the bag, and by placing the product on the side with the punch hole, we can also prevent tilting. The lamination process involves bonding OPP film and CPP film together. Typically, OPP film, which has good ink adhesion and high moisture resistance, is used on the outside, while CPP film, known for its excellent heat sealability and abrasion resistance, is used on the inside. However, we heard that when they previously had bags made, the seal strength was weak, and the sides of the bag's opening were very prone to tearing. The reason for this is that during the lamination process, slight differences in the tension applied by the machine when bonding the films and the adhesion of the adhesive can lead to variations in how well the films stick together. This can result in the edges opening up when the film is placed on the bag-making machine, causing issues with proper sealing on the sides. To address this problem, we utilized a "reinforcement seal." When applying the reinforcement seal, we made sure to: - Be cautious about the temperature being too high to avoid deforming the bag. - Minimize any residual marks from the reinforcement on the bag. To ensure these two points were considered, we consistently managed the temperature during the process. The issue was successfully resolved, and the customer was satisfied!

There are two types of hanging bags: bottom-loading and top-loading. This time, we would like to introduce a customer's request, stating, "I am worried that the products might fall out of the bag since I will be putting heavy items in it..." While it is quite rare for bottom-loading hanging bags to experience product drops due to temperature changes or the passage of time, it can happen. On the other hand, with top-loading bags, the film itself supports the weight of the product, eliminating the concern of dropping. We would like to introduce a case study of a bag with corner cutting processing applied to the flap part. In sealing operations, there are methods that use glue on the flap part and those that use tape such as cellophane tape. 1. When sealing with cellophane tape for products of a certain thickness: If the tape is not applied all the way to the edges, it may peel up, resulting in a poor appearance. We made the header portion smaller than the product's width from the start and cut both ends of the upper part of the header section diagonally. With standard films, wrinkles are indeed more likely to occur, and the degree of wrinkling can vary depending on the temperature of the heat applied. This film can be fused at a lower temperature compared to standard films, which helps reduce wrinkles compared to heat treatment at higher temperatures. With regular film, even the same gold color tends to appear somewhat dull in the printing finish. This time, we used OPP film for printing, but by layering aluminum vapor-deposited film over it, we achieved a glossy gold finish. The difference in color alone makes it stand out from other products, contributing to differentiation from competitors. Although the cost is about 30% higher than regular film, the customer was satisfied and placed a formal order. Aluminum vapor-deposited film has high moisture resistance and light-blocking properties, allowing the contents to be kept in good condition, and since the products inside cannot be seen from the outside, it also offers high confidentiality, making it commonly used for clothing and trading card bags. There are various types of films used for bag making, and this time we would like to introduce a case of bag making using matte film. We received a request from a customer stating, "I want to improve the visibility of products displayed outdoors, as sunlight makes them hard to see due to reflections." While regular OPP film enhances the appearance of products due to its high transparency, this same transparency makes light reflections more noticeable. In response to the customer's request, we decided to use a matte film, which is different from regular films. Matte film, also known as non-gloss film, helps to reduce light reflections and significantly improves product visibility. However, it should be noted that it does not completely eliminate reflections. Additionally, matte film has a calm atmosphere and offers a more premium feel compared to regular films. In this case, we used OPP matte film alone, but it is also possible to laminate it with CPP film for bag making.
