The "Piled Wooden Hybrid Ground Improvement Method" is a composite material ground improvement technique that enhances the durability of wooden pile improvement materials by covering the wood (mainly cedar lumber) with concrete and shaping the cross-section into a regular octagonal pencil-like form, thereby shutting out the supply of moisture and oxygen necessary for the growth of wood-decaying fungi.
