The customer who adopted this product is preparing for their second large-scale renovation and was considering areas for improvement. They had been advised to replace the drainage pipes, but since the renovation budget was not abundant, they wanted to keep it to a minimum. Therefore, they decided to utilize "Pipe-kun" to conduct a piping survey and assess the current situation. As a result, the condition of the piping was found to be very good. Consequently, it was determined that there was no need to replace the piping during this large-scale renovation, which significantly contributed to reducing renovation costs. The "Pipe Inspection Robot Type III" is a pipe exploration robot capable of conducting internal inspections through pipe joints with many bends. We have developed a special cover called SSW (Spring Wire) for the MT camera. By simultaneously rotating and pushing the SSW, the tip can overcome steps and pass through bends, allowing it to navigate pipes that are difficult for standard push-type cameras. Additionally, the MT camera, which is approximately 12 meters long, can cover long piping, and work can be performed while checking the video on a tablet.
