We would like to introduce a case study on the utilization of detailed terrain data acquisition through UAV green laser surveying that we have handled. With the introduction of green laser technology, it has become possible to continuously measure three-dimensional point clouds from the air to underwater. By mounting it on a UAV and measuring from a low altitude, we can obtain data with a high point density, allowing us to capture the shapes of individual wave-dissipating blocks. In confirming river scouring conditions, we can visually understand the relationship between structures and scouring conditions by acquiring detailed point cloud data of structures and terrain without distinguishing between air and underwater. • Surveying

Our company conducts "UAV Green Laser Surveying" suitable for rivers, ports, forests, ICT-compatible construction, infrastructure maintenance, and disaster investigations. On the coast, we can perform 3D topographic surveys in areas where the seabed is visible. This is particularly suitable for inaccessible areas and extremely shallow waters. In rivers, we can capture the three-dimensional shape of the riverbed without interference from water. On land, we measure the terrain beneath trees through gaps in the branches and leaves. For outdoor locations with varying conditions, we utilize various measurement methods, such as drones, to accurately capture diverse terrain shapes, including complex topographies, forests, cliffs, and large areas of several square kilometers. The measured data is point cloud data with survey-grade accuracy, making it useful for current condition surveys and design during renovations. Furthermore, not only is the data accurate, but it also records the colors of the objects, allowing for effective use as explanatory materials for stakeholders through 3D visualization.
