Our company is still a newcomer in the FA-related business, such as automated guided vehicles (AGVs), but we have a long history in the newspaper rotary press business, having completed the first domestically produced rotary press as a domestic manufacturer. In our newspaper rotary press business, our rotary press has been certified as a "Mechanical Heritage" by the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers. Recently, we delivered five units of the customized standard AGV "V1900-H" to Panasonic Energy Co., Ltd. at their Wakayama factory. The "V1900-H" is expected to contribute to the productivity improvement of the new large-capacity battery manufacturing line, which is anticipated to be installed in electric vehicles (EVs), through collaboration with other logistics manufacturers, while also enhancing safety and reducing labor requirements. In today's labor market, labor shortages have become a serious management issue, particularly in manufacturing and logistics, where the demand for labor-saving solutions in transportation tasks is increasing.
