As the demand for self-consumption solar power generation systems increases, there are more opportunities to consider installing panels on flat-roofed buildings. However, flat-roof mounting systems are more expensive compared to pitched roof systems, and there are concerns regarding the load on the roof and wind resistance strength. The "Up-Base NEO," which is being launched this time, has been developed to address these challenges of flat-roof mounting systems. With a simple structure and a low center of gravity, combined with the use of weights, it achieves low cost, low load, and high strength. It can be used in areas where the installation standard wind speed is 38 m/s and the maximum instantaneous wind speed is below 60 m/s, making it suitable for most parts of Japan. Additionally, as long as the panel size is within the allowable limits, the manufacturer of the panels can be chosen freely, allowing the selection of panels to reflect the preferences of the business owner or EPC contractor. Windbreak panels are also installed on the sides of the panels, preventing wind from blowing into the back of the panels.
